Anidar la Ciudad is a public-space creation project that proposes a sculptural installation in Parque Fundacional de Fontibón.The proposal seeks to activate the urban space through a vertical installation piece designed to be functional for different bird species and to generate new ways of cohabiting the city. The installation opens up a space for interaction and co-creation, where birds are not merely objects of study or contemplation, but active agents that modify and give meaning to the work. In this way, the project materializes a shared mode of inhabiting, in which art and ecology intertwine to rethink our relationships with other species.

Anidar la Ciudad imagines the urban landscape as a shared ecosystem, where multiple forms of life coexist and transform the territory. The installation proposes structures that create spaces for birds on the façade of Galería Santa Fe, re-signifying our relationship with the urban environment and with artistic production.
The installation is composed of a series of pieces that transform the geometric rigidity of different antennas — structures that birds use as places for resting and observation — into curved and organic forms, suggesting a process of de-structuring toward the flexible, the fluid, the living. Although their original form is altered, they preserve industrial fragments: elements that extend, articulate, and generate new connections. Each piece thus becomes an assembled entity, a suspended gesture on the façade, as if it held life within a structure of industrial appearance.
By blurring the boundaries between the built and the organic, the installation seeks to become a space for imagining possible futures, alternative places for cohabitation, architectures based on symbiosis rather than imposition. Anchored sculptures or micro-architectures, yet open to urban transformations, tensions, and relationships with the surrounding space.
Anidar la Ciudad invites us to collectively explore new urban ecologies, as a way of rethinking the current ecological crisis and the ways in which we build the city. More than an answer, it is an open question, an exploration of how we might cohabit in a more sensitive, more integrated and more living way.
